Could a Plant-Based nasal spray soothe chemotherapy side effects?

Summary
This study tested whether a nasal spray made with rose geranium and sesame oil could better relieve nose symptoms like dryness, pain, and scabbing in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, compared to a standard saline spray. Over 100 adult cancer patients with moderate to severe nasal symptoms were randomly assigned to use one of the two sprays for two weeks. The main goal was to see if patients felt their most bothersome nose symptom got moderately or much better with the rose geranium spray.
