Robot-Assisted knee surgery gets a Real-Time Tune-Up in new study

NCT ID NCT05966519

First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether a surgical robot (ROSA Knee) can help surgeons make last-minute adjustments to knee replacement plans based on the condition of the patient's soft tissues during the operation. About 80 adults with knee arthritis will be enrolled and followed for 2 years after surgery. The goal is to see if this flexibility leads to better pain relief, movement, and quality of life.
