First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether rope skipping can improve heart and lung fitness in children aged 6 to 12. About 178 kids will either do regular gym class or skip rope for 50 minutes, three times a week, for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in endurance and breathing to see if skipping is better than standard physical education.
