Scientists track Body's signals during tooth repair
NCT ID NCT06713174
Summary
This study aimed to understand how the body's inflammation and healing signals change during a standard root canal procedure. Researchers collected small fluid samples from around the teeth of 22 patients with infected, dead tooth pulp before and during their treatment. The goal was to see if these signals could be used to track the healing process, not to test a new treatment.
