Scientists track Body's signals during common dental procedure
NCT ID NCT06713174
Summary
This study aimed to understand how the body's inflammation levels change during a standard root canal procedure. Researchers collected small fluid samples from 22 patients with a specific tooth infection before and during their treatment. The goal was to see if measuring certain inflammation markers could help track the healing process, not to test a new cure or treatment method.
