New hope for stronger bones in myeloma patients

Summary

This small, early-stage study is testing whether a drug called romosozumab can help strengthen bones and slow bone damage in postmenopausal women who have both multiple myeloma and osteoporosis. Researchers will measure changes in bone health markers and closely monitor safety. The goal is to see if this treatment can better manage the bone-weakening effects of these two conditions.
