New hope for young cancer patients: drug aims to fix dangerous low platelet counts from chemo

Summary

This study tests a drug called romiplostim N01 in children and young adults (ages 6-24) whose platelet counts drop dangerously low after chemotherapy. The goal is to see if weekly injections can safely bring platelet levels back up within three weeks. About 50 participants will receive the drug and be closely monitored for side effects and bleeding.
