New foam tested for painful skin condition

NCT ID NCT07263230

Summary

This study is testing whether a foam containing the drug roflumilast is safe and effective for treating hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a chronic skin condition that causes painful lumps. About 20 adult participants with mild-to-moderate HS will apply the foam daily for 16 weeks to see if it reduces the number of lumps and abscesses. The goal is to see if this topical treatment can help control the symptoms of this difficult condition.
