New foam treatment tested for painful skin condition
NCT ID NCT07263230
Summary
This study is testing whether a foam containing the drug roflumilast can help reduce painful lumps and abscesses in people with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a chronic inflammatory skin condition. About 20 adult participants with mild-to-moderate HS will apply the foam daily for 16 weeks to see if it is safe and effective. The main goal is to see if the treatment reduces the number of painful skin lumps.
