First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study compared two types of minimally invasive surgery for fixing an inguinal hernia: robotic-assisted and traditional laparoscopic. The goal was to see if the robotic approach causes less stress on the body and leads to better short-term recovery. 150 adults with different types of inguinal hernias took part, and researchers measured things like inflammation levels, blood loss, and hospital stay.
