NCT ID NCT07119203

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study compares two types of gallbladder removal surgery: robotic-assisted and traditional laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. About 276 adults with non-cancerous gallbladder disease will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The main goal is to see if robotic surgery is as safe as the standard approach, focusing on complications within 30 days after surgery.
