NCT ID NCT07229859
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at 332 people with low-risk papillary thyroid cancer that had spread to lymph nodes in the neck. Researchers compared robotic surgery (using small cuts under the arms and around the breasts) to standard open surgery. They wanted to see if the robotic method removed cancer just as well, caused fewer side effects, and gave better-looking scars. Results showed robotic surgery is a safe and effective option for carefully selected patients.
