Robot aims to make kidney stone surgery safer and faster

NCT ID NCT07211555

Summary

This study is testing a new robotic system called LARC that helps surgeons guide a needle into the kidney during surgery to remove large stones. The goal is to see if using this robot makes the procedure more accurate, reduces surgery time, and lowers radiation exposure compared to current methods. The study will include up to 45 adults who are already scheduled for this type of kidney stone surgery.
