First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using a robot during partial knee replacement helps prevent the new joint from loosening too soon. Fifty people aged 50 to 80 with knee arthritis will be randomly assigned to get either robot-assisted or standard surgery. Researchers will use special X-rays and motion sensors to check for tiny movements in the implant over two years.
