NCT ID NCT07389902

First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at how two types of robot conversations—simple rule-based chats versus advanced AI-powered chats—affect children aged 2 to 9 who are in the hospital. About 60 kids will interact with a social robot named LIKU during activities about emotions and safety. Researchers will measure how engaged and happy the children are, aiming to learn how to design better robot helpers for young patients.
