NCT ID NCT07299006
Summary
This study aims to see if using a therapeutic robot shaped like a baby seal, named PARO, can help manage pain and anxiety in young children getting an IV line placed. Researchers will compare standard pain management techniques with and without the PARO robot. They plan to enroll 120 children between 1 and 7 years old at multiple pediatric centers to measure pain levels and distress during the procedure.
