New lying position could make kidney cancer surgery faster and safer

NCT ID NCT07234409

Summary

This study aims to find out if lying on your back is better than lying on your side during robotic surgery to remove small kidney tumors. Researchers will compare recovery time, pain, and complications between the two positions in 124 patients. The goal is to determine which surgical approach leads to safer surgery and faster hospital discharge.
