Brain-Controlled robot hand may boost stroke recovery

NCT ID NCT07459725

First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether a robotic hand that moves when you imagine moving it (using brain signals) works better than one that moves automatically. Twenty adults with chronic stroke will try both methods to see which improves hand function and brain activity more. The goal is to find a more effective way to help stroke survivors regain hand movement.
