First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at whether children aged 8 to 12 with cochlear implants would use a humanoid robot at home to help with speech therapy. Ten children and their families tried the robot, and researchers measured how many hours per week the child used it. The goal was to see if a robot could make home practice easier and more fun, reducing the need for frequent clinic visits.
