NCT ID NCT06897631

First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining Tai Chi movements with a robotic arm can help people who have had a stroke regain better use of their affected arm. About 120 adults who had a first stroke within the past year will be randomly assigned to either robot-assisted Tai Chi or standard rehab exercises. Both groups will train for one hour a day, five days a week, for four weeks. Researchers will measure arm function improvements and monitor safety.
