Robot vs. visual training: which boosts stroke recovery more?

Summary

This study tests two advanced rehabilitation methods—robot-assisted walking training and visual feedback balance training—to see which better improves balance and walking in people who have had a stroke. About 60 adults with subacute or chronic stroke will participate in 4 weeks of therapy. The goal is to find more effective ways to help stroke survivors regain mobility and reduce fall risk.
