Head-to-Head blood thinner showdown: finding the safest option for heart patients

Summary
This study directly compares two newer blood thinners (rivaroxaban and apixaban) to see which causes fewer bleeding problems in people with atrial fibrillation. Researchers will follow 3,018 patients for one year, tracking bleeding events while both medications work equally well to prevent strokes. The goal is to help doctors choose the safest blood thinner for each patient by providing the first direct comparison of these two commonly prescribed drugs.
