First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study compared an oral blood thinner (rivaroxaban) to standard injectable blood thinners in 75 children with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (a blood clot in the brain). The goal was to see if the pill was as safe and effective at dissolving the clot. The study measured clot resolution and bleeding risks. Results help doctors choose the best treatment for children with this rare condition.
