NCT ID NCT07523347

First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study compared a blood-thinning pill (rivaroxaban) to standard blood thinners in 75 children aged 2 months to 18 years with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (a blood clot in the brain's veins). The goal was to see which treatment was safer and better at clearing the clot. The study measured success by whether the veins returned to normal and tracked any bleeding problems.
