First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether rituximab, an anti-inflammatory drug used for conditions like multiple sclerosis, can help treat psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia. About 120 adults aged 18 to 55 will receive either rituximab or a placebo alongside their usual medications. Researchers will measure changes in symptoms and look at blood and brain markers to see if the drug works.
