Summary

This study reviews medical records of 536 children in the pediatric ICU to find out what makes them more likely to get or carry a dangerous, drug-resistant bacteria called CRE. The goal is to identify risk factors and describe the bacteria's traits. No new treatments are tested; instead, the findings will help doctors better protect vulnerable children.
