Summary
This early-stage study tested how a long-acting HIV medication (rilpivirine, given alone or with cabotegravir) moves through the body after a single injection under the skin. 126 healthy adults took part to check safety and drug levels. The goal was not to treat disease, but to gather important information for future HIV treatment development.
