Tape and exercise: a new hope for shoulder pain sufferers?

NCT ID NCT07333417

First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding rigid tape to a standard exercise program can reduce pain and improve shoulder function in people with acromioclavicular (AC) joint degeneration. About 28 adults with shoulder pain will be split into two groups: one gets taping plus exercise, the other gets exercise alone. The treatment lasts 4 weeks, and researchers will check pain, motion, and function at several points, including a 3-month follow-up.
