NCT ID NCT04564599

First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looked back at records from 100 adults (18 and older) who were in a car crash and had alcohol or drugs in their system. Researchers compared crash data with ride sharing use from Uber and Lyft to see if more ride sharing meant fewer impaired driving accidents. They also checked sexual assault reports. The study was stopped early, so results are limited.
