First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to reduce a nasal hump during rhinoplasty: the traditional method using chisels and files, and a newer technique using a surgical drill. 200 adults having nose surgery will be randomly assigned to one method. The trial will measure pain, swelling, bruising, nose smoothness, patient satisfaction, and breathing over one year to see which approach works better.
