First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to reduce a nasal hump during rhinoplasty (nose job): the traditional method using chisels and files, and a newer method using a surgical drill. The goal is to see which technique leads to less pain, swelling, and bruising, and better appearance and breathing. About 200 adults needing a first-time open nose job will be followed for one year.
