Blood test may forecast nose job recovery
NCT ID NCT06649370
First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at whether routine blood test results can predict how much swelling and bruising people will have after rhinoplasty (nose job). Researchers measured inflammation markers in the blood before surgery and compared them to photos taken 1, 2, and 7 days after surgery. The goal was to see if these markers could help doctors anticipate recovery, but no treatment or intervention was tested.
