NCT ID NCT06649370
First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study explored whether two simple blood test markers (SII and SIRI) can predict swelling and bruising after rhinoplasty (nose job). Researchers followed 94 patients aged 18-45. They took blood samples before surgery and photographed patients on days 1, 2, and 7 after surgery to rate swelling and bruising. The goal was to see if higher inflammation levels before surgery lead to more swelling and bruising afterward.
