Summary
This study tested a new procedure called REZUM, which uses water vapor (steam) to shrink prostate tissue, against the common drug tamsulosin for men with an enlarged prostate causing urinary symptoms. About 94 men with mild to moderate symptoms took part. The goal was to see which approach better improves urine flow and quality of life over a year.
