Promising new combo aims to extend life in rare gut cancer

Summary
This study tests a new treatment for a rare and fast-growing cancer of the digestive system (neuroendocrine carcinoma). It combines standard chemotherapy (FOLFIRI) with two immunotherapy drugs (zimberelimab and domvanalimab) to see if it helps people live longer. About 122 adults whose cancer has worsened after first treatment will take part. The trial uses a smart design that mixes some historical patient data to speed up research.
