New shoulder implant study aims to ease pain and restore movement

Summary
This study is testing a special shoulder replacement (reverse shoulder implant) in 175 people with severe shoulder arthritis, rotator cuff tears, or failed previous replacements. The main goal is to see if pain improves one year after surgery. Researchers will also check shoulder function and look for any bone changes over time.
