Thigh bone break fix: which surgery works best?

Summary
This study compares two surgical techniques for fixing severe fractures of the thigh bone just above the knee. Forty adults with these complex breaks will receive either a nail placed inside the bone or two plates on the outside. The goal is to see which method leads to better knee function and bone healing in the short term.
