Summary

This study tests whether giving a probiotic (Saccharomyces boulardii) alongside antibiotics can protect the gut and nose bacteria in 100 children aged 4-12 with ear or sinus infections. The goal is to reduce diarrhea and prevent the spread of antibiotic-resistant genes. Results will help understand if probiotics can make antibiotic treatment safer for kids.
