Foam that expands in the belly could save trauma victims from bleeding to death

Summary
This trial tests a special foam called ResQFoam that expands inside the belly to stop life-threatening bleeding from injuries. About 40 people with severe internal bleeding who need emergency surgery will receive the foam. The goal is to see if it safely raises blood pressure and controls bleeding until surgery can fix the problem.
