NCT ID NCT06439030
First seen Sep 02, 2026 · Last updated Sep 03, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
Researchers are testing whether a mobile and web-based healing program can reduce trauma and stress in university students who lived through earthquakes. The program combines film therapy, laughter yoga, stress coping training, progressive relaxation, grief education, expressive art therapy, and healthy lifestyle coaching. Around 80 students from three Turkish universities will take part, and the study will measure changes in trauma levels, coping skills, emotional eating, and healthy behaviors.

- Active substance
- A mobile and web-based healing program that includes film therapy, laughter yoga, stress coping training, progressive relaxation, grief education, expressive art therapy, and healthy lifestyle coaching.
- What this could lead to
- If it works, this program could offer a scalable, accessible way to help students recover from earthquake-related trauma and build healthier coping skills.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small, early-stage trial with 80 participants, so results may not apply broadly. The program is complex and delivered online, so engagement and adherence could vary.
