First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at how different resistance training methods affect muscle growth, strength, and nerve signals. Thirty healthy adults who already lift weights regularly were split into two groups: one used a velocity-based method (adjusting weight based on movement speed) and the other used a percent-based method (using a fixed percentage of their max). The goal was to see which approach leads to better muscle and strength gains. Results will help trainers and athletes choose the most effective training style.
