New study tracks survival after second surgery for head and neck cancer

Summary
This study looks at how well people do after a second surgery (salvage surgery) for head and neck cancer that has come back or remained after initial treatment. Researchers will track survival and quality of life in 400 adults. They will also study tumor genetics to understand why cancer returns. This is an observational study, not a test of a new treatment.
