Summary

This study is testing whether giving repeated doses of the BCG vaccine (traditionally used for tuberculosis) can help children aged 8 to 18 with type 1 diabetes. The goal is to see if it improves blood sugar control and reduces insulin needs. 150 participants will be followed to measure changes in HbA1c and other diabetes markers.
