First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at people with atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) whose first ablation procedure didn't work. It compares two repeat ablation techniques: the standard approach versus adding extra treatment to another part of the heart. The goal is to see which method better reduces symptoms and improves daily life. About 630 adults will take part.
