First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tested a drug called Renexin CR in 483 people who had a recent ischemic stroke (not caused by a heart clot). The goal was to see if the drug could prevent the stroke from getting worse in the hospital or causing another stroke within 90 days. Participants were randomly assigned to receive Renexin CR or an active comparison drug, and neither they nor their doctors knew which they received.
