First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a daily, gentler form of dialysis (low dialysate flow) combined with exercise and nutrition counseling can help kidney patients recover muscle strength and function after a serious illness. About 50 adults with end-stage kidney disease who were recently hospitalized will take part. The goal is to see if this approach is more effective than standard dialysis for improving physical health and quality of life.
