Can video calls replace the gym for knee pain relief?

NCT ID NCT06101797

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested whether doing supervised leg exercises at home via video calls works as well as doing them in person for people with knee osteoarthritis. Forty-eight adults with knee pain and stiffness took part in a 12-week program. The goal was to see if remote supervision could provide similar improvements in pain, daily function, and muscle health.
