First seen Jun 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether checking for sleep apnea at home can help people with atrial fibrillation feel better. About 936 adults with AF will either be tested for sleep apnea and treated if needed, or not tested at all. Researchers will track symptoms, activity, and heart rhythm using a smartphone app to see if testing leads to a meaningful improvement in quality of life after 18 weeks.
