Skip the Doctor's office? study tests virtual recovery checks for broken wrists
NCT ID NCT07219979
Summary
This study is testing whether remote monitoring can be a safe and effective alternative to traditional in-person doctor visits for people recovering from wrist fracture surgery. Researchers will compare recovery, patient satisfaction, and complication rates between 160 adults who receive virtual follow-up care and those who attend standard clinic appointments. The goal is to see if online check-ups work just as well while potentially making recovery more convenient.
