Summary
This study tests whether people having laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery can safely go home the same day using remote monitoring devices. Forty adults aged 18-65 will be randomly assigned to either same-day discharge with remote monitoring or standard overnight hospital stay. The goal is to see if this approach is safe, cost-effective, and reduces hospital burden.
